Candidates explicitly consent to recording before the interview begins, with the recording use clearly disclosed. Candidates who decline don't proceed to the AI interview; recruiters can offer an alternative path if they choose.

How long are interview recordings stored?
Per your tenant's retention policy (default 12 months). You can configure shorter retention per role or per region (e.g. 90 days for EU regions per GDPR).
Are transcripts machine-translated for non-English interviews?
Transcripts are produced in the interview language. Optional English machine-translation is available on every transcript for hiring managers who don't speak the source language.
Can I share recordings with external stakeholders?
Yes, recruiters can generate time-limited share links for specific recordings or insight packs. Every external view is audit-logged.
Do recordings include the candidate's screen?
No, Ployo records the candidate's camera and microphone only. We do not capture screen content. The integrity engine detects tab-switching via browser-side signals without screen capture.
