No, it is not another login to check

Ployo interviews your applicants and sends the results back to wherever your team already works. If the shortlist does not land where your coordinator is already looking, it has not saved anyone any time.

Will results actually feed into the system we already use?

Yes, and this is the question worth pressing every vendor on, because the honest answer is often no.

A screening tool that produces a shortlist inside its own dashboard has moved the work rather than removed it. Somebody still has to open a second system, read it, and retype the outcome into the place your roster actually comes from. In care that is usually a rostering or workforce platform, not an applicant tracking system, which is why "does it integrate" and "does it integrate with our ATS" are different questions.

Ployo sends the score, the met or not met verdict on every requirement, the transcript and a link to the recording back into your system. Your coordinator opens the tool they already open.

Three ways providers run it

Mode one

Alongside your ATS

Applicants arrive in your ATS as normal. Ployo receives them, interviews everyone, and writes the result back against the candidate record. Nobody changes where they work.

Mode two

Alongside rostering and payroll

Most care providers do not run a dedicated ATS. They run a rostering or workforce platform and a shared inbox. Ployo works the same way here: results go where the person filling the shift is already looking.

Mode three

On its own

No ATS, no integration project. Invite candidates by email, upload a CSV, or drop in a batch of resumes. Ployo handles the invitations, reminders, scheduling and the shortlist.

Smaller providers usually start in mode three and connect something later. There is no requirement to integrate anything before you can use it.

What goes in, and what comes back

Into Ployo

  • The applicant, as soon as they apply
  • The role and its requirements
  • Their CV or resume, if you have one

Back to you

  • A ranked score with the rubric behind it
  • Met, partially met or not met on every must-have
  • The verbatim quote and timestamp behind each score
  • The full transcript
  • A link to the recording
  • Integrity signals captured during the session

How the connection actually works

Applicants come in over a REST API with bearer authentication, or by batch and polling if event push is awkward on your side. Results go back out as signed webhooks. Where a platform requires it we support OAuth 2.0 client credentials.

We build connectors to order. Tell us what you run, whether that is a recruitment platform, a rostering system, a payroll platform or a shared inbox, and we will tell you straight whether it is a configuration, a connector we need to build, or something that genuinely will not work. Technical documentation is available on request.

What we will not tell you. We do not publish an integration count. A number like that says nothing about whether the one system you actually run is on the list, and vendors quote it precisely because it sounds better than the specific answer. Ask us about your platform by name and you will get a specific answer, including no when the answer is no.

FAQ

Common questions

Does it replace our applicant tracking system?+

It does not have to. Ployo is the interview and the shortlist, not a system of record. That said, providers hiring at low volume sometimes find that Ployo plus their existing inbox covers what they were using a separate tool for. Worth checking against what you actually use rather than assuming either way.

Does it connect to rostering software?+

That is the more common question in care and the answer is the same mechanism. Results can be pushed to any platform that accepts them over an API. Tell us the platform and we will confirm whether a connector exists, needs building, or is not possible.

How long does setting it up take?+

Running without an integration takes minutes. Paste a job description, review the generated questions and rubric, invite candidates. A connector to an existing system is a scoped piece of work and we will give you a timeframe before you commit to anything.

Is there a per-user charge for giving the team access?+

No. Plans are priced on interview volume only, so there is no reason to limit who can log in. Coordinators, facility managers and hiring managers can all have access.

What if we change systems later?+

Your interview records, transcripts, recordings and scores stay in Ployo and remain exportable. Changing the system on the other end changes the connector, not your history.

Can it check credentials against AHPRA or NDIS Worker Screening?+

No, and be careful with any vendor who says otherwise without naming the registry and the access agreement. Ployo asks the candidate about a credential and records the answer as structured, auditable evidence with the quote attached. Verifying against the issuing body remains your process.

Ployo runs a live two-way AI video interview with every applicant and returns a ranked shortlist with the evidence attached.
